Children of Heaven

basically an iranian movie realesed in the yr 1997 and nominated for the oscars in d same yr for the best movie in foreign language category.
a very emotional and touching story about a brother(ali) and his sister(zahra) who cruise their way struggling with acute poverty and severe circumstances.
The story kicks off with the protagonist of the story Ali losing a pair of shoes belonging to his sister and eventually being left a lone pair of shoes having to share between themselves for school,yet the affection between a brother and a sister is visibly palpable through various instances.Not able to tell their father of their problem for financial reasons they share the same pair with great difficulties.
an instant in the story where Ali is punished for wearing dirty shoes and coming to school late can dampen ur hearts for sure,,,,,,,,
but the climax of the story is its greatest part-----------
Ali takes part in a marathon in which the third prize is a pair of shoes which he wants desperately for his sister.the 20 mins of the race is one of best moments of cinematic experience...what happens is ali slows down at the and adjusts himself to be third in the race but
ironically comes first..............
he returns home with a trophy in his hands.he had promised his sister for the pair of shoes but has failed,zahra his sister waiting all the while anxiously for her brother gets excited upon seeing him but unfortunately................
ali and zahra exchange a 3 min long stare full of expression and compassion for each other.zahra den enters her home to look after another infant sister.
ali's shoes are completely destroyed during the long event of the race and his feet are severely injured.
in the end the father is seeing carrying a pair of shoes for each brother and sister.................lots of other things worth watching in the movie...
i am sure this is a very good movie which should entertain u with a certain degree of certitude.

Movies....the irreplaceable form of entertainment

Motion pictures or more popularly movies or feature films may considered as one the greatest inventions the 20th century has seen.they bring a smile on our faces,they make us cry,they inspire,
they take us by surprise and bring about innumerable human emotions.nothing can ever replace the pleasure of seeing ur fav movie.....(bla bla bla.....) but sometimes some movies betray their respectful lineage or should we say their glorified history.this i say with respect to movies especially from the much coveted INDIAN FILM INDUSTRY by releasing films like "ramu ki aag","go","my name is anthony" and so and so enough to shatter the confidence and love of its fondest audience !!!!..........
but some movies like johny gaddaar,hazaron khwaishe aisi,taare zameen par,munnabhai restore the pride in the rite place.....i would like to point out apart from a minute no. of movies ,,ALL and wen i say ALL i mean ALL of them are copied directly from foreign movies or should we say inspired from,,,,,,,,,,,,,,or a mere coincidence dat it bears absolute resemblance to their parent movies....
frnds we r not here for a debate.i made this blog to bring to ur knowledge sum of the best hollywood movies which r left unexplored or unheard of in our part of the world...
i would like to start the list with my favorite movie......

lastly i want to conclude by saying dat the prime purpose of movies is dat it should giv us pleasure and excitement. i dont say dat hindi movies are not up to the mark...even i njoy hindi movies like om shanti om and all but for an avid movie lover like me makes me sick by d fact dat movies like bheja fry,life in a metro,much applauded are not original to receive dat kind of reception even they r copied from movies like "dinner table","the apartment"....and so on,
last but certainly not the least! i would request u to detest movies like tashan! and all and go for a rich and satisfying cinematic experience.........
i humbly request all d viewers to hv their say in dis regard and any opinion is highly solicited and to at least watch sum of the above mentioned movies............. i will keep working in improving this blog..
